It is the first New Line Cinema film to produced by Legendary Pictures. The uncanny valley on the giants looks obvious, through that may have been due to Digital Domain's bankruptcy during production. Great musical score, coming of John Ottoman. Bill Nighy's voice as General Fallon was well chosen. Stanley Tucci did extremely well with his British accent and his role as Roderick. Jack is courageous and cunning as he puts plans together like staying out of sight from the Giants in Gantua and putting the last bean into General Fallon's mouth. When the creatures make their way to the ground, Jack must figure out how to get back down before they destroy earth and everyone in it. Marvelous acting including Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, Nicolas Hoult and John Kassir. A giant beanstalk brings Jack to a land in the clouds filled with snarling, evil beasts. Jack has to face an army of foes that he thought existed only in legend, but through his arduous fight for the kingdom and its people, he may win the love of a brave princess, perhaps becoming a legend himself.
